About the diversity of human culture

Deeply impressed by asian imagery I concentrate on confronting western and eastern iconography since 2002. I let myself be inspired by the atmosphere on various cultural events like exhibitions, concerts, lectures, symposions, medieval markets and tournaments of knights. Resulting from this my photographic work shows an excursion through centuries and cultures without any claim on completeness of course. My intention focuses on reflecting cultural symbols and human performance.
